RALPH TOWNER BOOK

One of the best guitar books that I have ever seen and experienced is called: "Improvisation
and Performance Techniques For Classical And Acoustic Guitar" - by Ralph Towner. Anyone
interested in Right Hand Concepts, Modern Harmonic Designs and Improvisation will love this
material. This book has had a major impact on my harmonic sense and changed my musical
conception. The book was out-of-print for many years and I just now found it on-line! It is

BLUES BOOK

A number of people mentioned having trouble locating my blues book (Payin' Your Dues With The Blues) on the www.melbay.com website. Here's what you do-- Click on PRODUCTS TAB, scroll down to AUTHORS, Click AUTHORS. This will take you to an alphabetic listing of the Authors. Click on U (for my last name), find my name then click on my name. You will find my book there. OR, you can find it alphabetic under the letter M. BILL DRUCK CD IN PROGRESS

Guitarist Bill Druck is planning a CD which will be part duo and part quartet. This CD will be on the creative edge, featuring all original music by Bill and myself. The recording will be done in two phases. Session one is scheduled for April 16th, 2010 in Baltimore. Stay tuned!

HAND SPECIALIST

For any musician who may experience hand problems, choosing the correct doctor can be a difficult process. Over the last year, I have had considerable left hand problems (pain) and have seen a handful of hand specialists. I have found an INCREDIBLE doctor who you must see if you are having hand issues, especially if you live in the central PA region.
